Yesterday, a soak test version of the Android 7.0 Nougat update was out for the Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and it was also confirmed that Moto Z Droid in US at Verizon is also receiving the Nougat build, but today, Motorola has officially released the 7.0 update for the Moto G4 and G4 Plus.

And it looks like the release in world over, because we’re looking at the Motorola’s Indian portal support page for G4 and G4 Plus, while it was already out for the Brazil yesterday (as soak test). But at least it is out on India.

See that screenshot above, it comes from Motorola’s G4 and G4 Plus updates info page on its Indian portal. Though, Motorola, in typical fashion, didn’t provide the software version of the Nougat update for either devices.

And, in case you’re wondering, Motorola hasn’t announced the Android 7.0 update for the Moto Z Droid, or any other Moto set, yet, like the G4 and G4 Plus — so these two guys are first to taste Nougat from Motorola, and they do so even before the likes of Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, HTC 10, LG G5, Xperia X, Xperia XZ and X Performance. Phew!

Motorola has been kind enough to details out the new Nougat features for its users in brief, something which Google also did for its Nexus devices. Here’s a full list of new features in Nougat update, in Motorola’s words.
